Mini-Contest – Design a Wrist Tattoo

Okay, so here is the gist of this mini-contest. I am on the hunt for a small tattoo for my wrist, and I think it would be awesome if someone from dA would design one. I would go about to commission someone myself if I had money to spare, (aside from the fee I have to pay getting it tattooed), so that’s why I’m making a small contest out of this. Besides, it would make the tattoo that much more meaningful ^_^

Due Date - August 4th, 2009


Tattoo Artwork ::
I am looking for a chibi design of an animal, or a simple, decorative image. You can pick either category, or mix them. Color is optional.

- - Chibi Animal – Kitsune (fox), bunny, cat, panda, crow, or something else fluffy
- - Designs – Ivy, stars, swirls, flowers, etc.
- - Size – Please keep things small. Remember, this is going on my wrist. I would prefer that the image does not wrap around (like a bracelet).
- - Detail – There shouldn’t be too much detail considering the size of the image, so less is best. Colors are optional, but it would make things pretty


Submission ::
+ Submissions should be your own artwork!
+ Upload the image on dA
+ Can be in any medium (digital art, paint, pencil, ink, etc.)
+ Notify me when submitted via note
+ Unlimited Entries
+ Be flexible – If you win, please keep in mind that I may slightly alter your design if necessary. Since tattoos are permanent, I want to make sure it’s exactly how I want it.


Prizes ::
- - First Place – You will have the option to receive a digital chibi of your one character of choice (feral or anthro), or one of my four acrylic boxes that I have hand painted.






*If I like more than one design and decide to get one on each wrist, the “second place” winner will also receive the options of the “first place” winner.


Aftermath ::
If I select your design, I will be getting it tattooed hopefully before summer’s end. I will send you pictures of the final result, and keep your work featured in my journal for a long while.
